We understand traveling for surgery may seem like a lot of work, but our step-by-step protocol is designed to accommodate your travels as seamless and simple as possible.

Online Consultation Process

For your convenience, Mosca Plastic Surgery offers virtual consultations through our secure online patient portal, TouchMD. Our Portal allows you to send pertinent information such as medical history and photos for a proper evaluation. The process involves several key steps to ensure a smooth consultation. Once we receive your consultation request, our patient coordinator will contact you to go over our step-by-step guide to get you started.

START YOUR JOURNEY WITH MOSCA PLASTIC SURGERY

Preparing for your surgery with a virtual consultation, allows you to get started with your transformation without having to come to our office for the initial consult. You’ll be provided with information on fees and given detailed instructions on preparing for your surgery. Please be aware patients are required to arrive at least one (1) day before their surgery and Dr. Mosca must see you postoperatively prior to returning home which is based on the type of procedure seen below.

Please be aware, that all postoperative appointments will be done in the afternoon so as to not schedule an early flight/transportation home that day. All departures should be made after 6pm EST.

Postoperative Care

Postoperative care, such as Lymphatic massages, recovery homes (if traveling alone), and postoperative garments are required for certain procedures, and it is the patient’s responsibility to schedule and/or purchase these items for their post procedure care. Lymphatic massages prevent inflammatory fluid build up after surgery and flushes out unwanted cellular debris and swelling. The procedures listed below are required to reduce pain, bruising, swelling, and prevent fibrosis. Out of town patients are responsible for getting their own lymphatic massages in the area before returning home. Here are the reputable massage therapists in the various areas:

Massages start the first postop day and you should have 5-6 massages your first week, then 4-5 massages for 3 more weeks at least.

Massages start at 1 week postop before you are scheduled to see Dr. Mosca. They continue for 4 weeks at 3-4 massages/week.
